WOOKEY FILMS NOMINATED FOR 3 PRIX GÉMEAUX

Wookey Films is proud to be nominated for this year’s Prix Gémeaux for their series Manaachihtow: À la rescousse des animaux sauvages. The series follows the rescues, rehabilitations and releases of wild animal patients at Manitoba's Wildlife Haven center. The series was line produced by Wookey’s Katy Slimmon, directed by Chris Gaudry, shot by Jesse deRocquigny, edited and co-written by Wookey's Denise Darling and researched by Wookey’s Casey Gibb. 

Manaachihtow has earned nominations for Best Directing in Children’s Variety Programming and best Musical theme - all categories, and Best Program or Seires - Youth Entertainment. We want to congratulate Chris Gaudry and Andrina Turenne on their nominations, as well as extend a huge thank you to the entire Wookey Films team for their outstanding work in bringing this vibrant series to life.

This recognition brings Wookey Films’ total to 10 Prix Gémeaux nominations.
