JANELLE WOOKEY SPEAKS AT PRIME TIME IN OTTAWA

Janelle was honoured to be invited by APTN to participate on the panel celebrating its 25th anniversary alongside Lisa Meeches of Eagle Vision and Monika Ille, CEO of APTN. The panel discussed the impact APTN has had on Indigenous creators and communities as well as the vision for the future of APTN

While there, Janelle also participated on the Regional Production Panel alongside Mark Montefiore of New Metric Media (Letterkenny, Shoresy), Lisa Porter of Pope Productions Ltd., and Hoda Elatawi of GAPC Entertainment Inc. Together, they shared their experiences of producing work outside of central regional hubs for film and TV production, and how they have developed vibrant, thriving production communities in their respective areas of the country.
