http://www.inthenameofallcanadians.com Hot Docs will commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation with the commissioning of In the Name of All Canadians, a compilation of six short documentaries inspired by Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms. From Indigenous rights to multiculturalism to the controversial ‘notwithstanding clause,’ participating filmmakers have each selected a specific aspect of the Charter to explore, looking at how it resonates in the stories of their fellow Canadians. This project has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario. ____________________________ Hot Docs célébrera le 150e anniversaire de la Confédération du Canada avec le lancement du projet In the Name of All Canadians, une compilation de six documentaires courts-métrages inspirés de la Charte canadienne des droits et libertés. Des droits autochtones en passant par le multiculturalisme à la controversée clause nonobstant, les réalisateurs participants ont chacun choisi d’explorer un aspect spécifique de la Charte, pour voir comment celle-ci résonne dans les vies et les histoires de leurs concitoyens. Ce projet a été rendu possible en partie grâce au gouvernement du Canada et du gouvernement de l'Ontario.
