WFI BEGINS PRODUCTION ON ONE-OFF DOC, 'HAFU' FOR UNIS TV

Wookey Films is proud to announce production of the one-off documentary, Hafu. With emerging director Vincent Blais-Shiokawa at the helm, Hafu tells the story of Vincent’s struggle to understand the intersectionality of his Canadian and Japanese heritage, as he travels to Tokyo with his father on a journey of reflection and self-discovery.

Wookey Films’ Martin Lafrenière will act as Director of Photography and Denise Darling is slated to co-write and edit the film which is partially being shot in Tokyo. Hafu is set to air on Unis TV in late 2024 or early in 2025.
