For a fourth year since 2017, we are excited to announce that Janelle will be co-hosting APTN’s Indigenous Day Live broadcast with the amazing Earl Wood. Janelle has been so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the IDL celebration over the years. Representing her Franco-Métis community on this stage continues to be an honour and holds special significance on both a professional and personal level. Janelle wishes to thank the amazing teams at Média Rendez-Vous and Animikee See for their confidence.

A most special thanks as well goes out to Métis artists Andréanne Dandenaut of Anne Mulaire and Lor Brand for the incredible wardrobe and beaded earrings. Getting the chance to showcase the work of fellow female Métis artists and entrepreneurs is one of Janelle’s favorite parts of the gig!

IDL 2021 airs Sunday June 21st at 7 pm central on APTN and will be available for free on APTN Lumi until June 22nd.
